  • Pay for your single ride when you enter the bus.

All ACT buses and vans are wheelchair-accessible. Ensure your device complies with ADA size and weight requirements.

Yes, riders can use headphones to enjoy your personal music or content, ensuring it doesn’t disturb other passengers.

Use the One Ride mobile app for real-time bus locations and plan your trip accordingly. You can also check the fixed route schedules.

You can also utilize Apple Maps from your smartphone device to access transit information when planning your trip. Enter the address > select directions > then select the public transit icon to discover bus routes, schedules, nearby bus stop information and more.

Day Pass allows you to make unlimited trips on the day of purchase. Buy it on your first trip from the Bus Operator for $2.00. There are no restrictions on when and where you can board on the day of purchase.

Bus operators are not able to give change. Passengers are expected to have exact change.

To submit a request for a city transit bench, shelter, or additional service, please fill out the Modification Request Survey. Utilize the included mapping system on the survey to identify specific locations.

Lost items found in Transit vehicles or at the Transfer Station are sent to the ACT Lost and Found Office at the Amarillo City Service Center, 801 SE 23rd Ave. The office is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (closed on weekends and holidays).

  • Clothes, jackets, shoes, hats and similar items are not stored and are disposed of immediately.
  • Non-attire items and bicycles are held for only 30 days due to storage limitations. After this period, unclaimed items are donated to local charities.
  • Found items may take about a day to available for pickup from the Lost and Found Office.
 

To check if your item was found, call 806-378-3095 (if no one answers, leave a detailed message) and provide:

  • A description of the item.
  • Your name and contact information.
 

If your item is located, you will receive a call with pickup instructions. We recommend calling ahead before visiting.

Reminders

Amarillo City Transit is not responsible for lost items but strives to reunite customers with their belongings.

City employees are not allowed to claim found items under any circumstances.
