COA Announces Service Schedule for Labor Day

 In observance of Labor Day (Monday, September 7), City of Amarillo (COA) offices will be closed on Monday. 

The COA service schedule for the week of Labor Day: 

  • City Hall will be closed Monday (September 7). All Amarillo Public Library locations will be closed Monday (September 7). Amarillo Municipal Court will be closed Monday (September 7). Payments can be made at the court’s drop box at 201 S.E. Fourth. Online payments can be made at the court’s website: www.amarillo.gov/municipal-court 
  • Amarillo City Transit will be closed Monday (September 7). For more information call (806) 378-3095 or go to: www.amarillo.gov/amarillo-city-transit/ 
  • The schedule for Solid Waste services: 
    • Residential Customers: Monday customers will be serviced Tuesday (September 8). Tuesday customers will be serviced Wednesday (September 9). 
    • Commercial Customers: Monday and Tuesday customers will be serviced Tuesday (September 8). 
    • Curbside Collection: Curbside service will not be available Monday (September 7). 
    • Brush Sites: Closed on Monday (September 7). 
    • Landfill: Closed on Monday (September 7). 

Ross Rogers and Comanche Trail Golf Complexes will have normal hours of operation.

City of Amarillo: Property Taxes Rebated Per Year by Agreement Type 

Overview 

The chart shows the dollar amounts of property taxes rebated per year over the last five fiscal years, broken down by agreement type. There were no Chapter 380 property tax rebates in the first two years listed. The total amount increased slightly each year, with a more significant increase in the most recent year.
