COA Announces Service Schedule for Week of Good Friday

In observance of Good Friday, City of Amarillo (COA) offices will be closed Friday (April 3).

The COA service schedule for the week of Good Friday:

  • City Hall will be closed Friday (April 3). All Amarillo Public Library locations will be closed Friday (April 3) through Sunday (April 5). Amarillo Municipal Court will be closed Friday (April 3). Payments may be made or at one of the court’s drop boxes located at Municipal Court, 201 S.E. Fourth Ave. or 200 S.E. Third Ave. in the APD 24-hour foyer. Online payments are available through the court’s website: amarillotx.municipalonlinepayments.com/amarillotx
  • Amarillo City Transit will operate a normal schedule. For more information call (806) 378-3095 or go to: www.amarillo.gov/amarillo-city-transit/

The schedule for Solid Waste services:

  • Residential customers: Thursday routes will be serviced on Wednesday (April 1) and Friday routes will be serviced on Thursday (April 2).
  • Commercial customers: Friday routes will be collected on Saturday (April 4).
  • Curbside service will not be available Friday (April 3).
  • Landfill: The landfill will be closed Friday and will reopen Saturday (April 4).
  • Brush Sites: Brush sites will be closed Friday and will reopen Saturday (April 4).

Ross Rogers and Comanche Trail Golf Complexes will have normal hours of operation.
