In recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, City of Amarillo (COA) offices will be closed on Monday (January 19).
The COA service schedule for MLK Day:
- City Hall, all Amarillo Public Library locations and Amarillo Municipal Court will be closed Monday (January 19). Defendants may make payments via the municipal court website at:

The schedule for Solid Waste services:
- Residential customers: Monday routes will be serviced on Tuesday (January 20) and Tuesday routes will be serviced on Wednesday (January 21).
- Commercial customers: Monday routes will be serviced on Tuesday (January 20).
- Curbside service will not be available Monday.
- Landfill: The landfill will be closed Monday and will reopen Tuesday (January 20).
- Brush sites: Brush sites will be closed Monday and will reopen Tuesday (January 20).
Ross Rogers and Comanche Trail Golf Complexes will have normal hours of operation.
