Financial Transparency Overview

Page in Progress

This page is part of the City of Amarillo’s ongoing commitment to financial transparency. While still under construction, it currently includes select financial documents and data—and additional resources will continue to be added and refined over time.

We appreciate your patience as we expand and improve this page to provide a more complete and accessible view of how public funds are managed.

Meaningful transparency fosters greater accountability. The City of Amarillo recognizes that every tax dollar represents the hard work of its residents. To maintain open and honest communication with the public, the City is committed to publishing clear and timely information about how those dollars are spent.

Monthly check registers for the City’s pooled “Pool” bank account will be posted following the completion of full bank reconciliations. In addition, detailed bank account ledgers—showing expenditures, revenues, and fund information—will be made available on a quarterly basis. Any confidential or sensitive information will be redacted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
