COA Service Schedule Announced for Memorial Day

In recognition of all who have served in the U.S. military, the City of Amarillo (COA) offices will be closed on Monday (May 26) for Memorial Day.

The COA service schedule for the week of Memorial Day:

  • City Hall and Amarillo Municipal Court will be closed Monday (May 26). Defendants may make payments via the municipal court website at: www.amarillo.gov/municipal-court/
  • All Amarillo Public Library locations will be closed Monday (May 26).
  • Amarillo City Transit will not operate on Monday (May 26). For more information call (806) 378-3095 or go to: www.amarillo.gov/amarillo-city-transit/

The schedule for Solid Waste services:

  • Residential customers: Monday routes will be collected Tuesday (May 27). Tuesday routes will be collected Wednesday (May 28).
  • Commercial customers: Commercial service will not be available Monday (May 26). All routes will be collected Tuesday (May 27).
  • Curbside customers: Curbside collection will not be available Monday (May 26). Curbside collection will resume Tuesday (May 27).
  • Landfill: The landfill will be closed Monday (May 26).
  • Brush sites: Brush sites will be closed Monday (May 26).

Ross Rogers and Comanche Trail Golf Complexes will have normal hours of operation.
