Performance Hall

The Carol Bush Emeny Performance Hall is located at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts, just across Buchanan Street from the Amarillo Civic Center in downtown Amarillo. This 1,300-seat proscenium theatre has been meticulously modeled after the natural features of Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle, giving guests a truly unique aesthetic experience.

Upon entering the Globe-News Center, guests are welcomed into a stunning three-level lobby that serves as an elegant pre-function space. The first and second floors lead into the orchestra level of the theatre, while the third floor opens into balcony seating overlooking the stage.

Designed with acoustical excellence in mind, the Performance Hall is a landmark in downtown Amarillo, featuring a one-of-a-kind orchestra shell that retracts into the upstage area to reveal a fully equipped roadhouse. With a sprung dance floor, hydraulic orchestra pit, and complete fly system, the Hall is equipped to host everything from concerts to theatrical productions.

Backstage, guests will find two main floors of dressing rooms, ranging from single rooms to large cast-style spaces, along with a spacious green room for artists, private shower rooms, and a laundry facility.

The Carol Bush Emeny Performance Hall is an exceptional venue, capable of hosting everything from arts performances to touring road shows and guest lectures.
