The Ghost Hunting Kit includes an electromagnetic field meter, infrared thermometer, digital speaker, electronic voice phenomenon recorder, guidebook, and other measurement tools for tracking paranormal activity.
Ghost Hunting Kits have become a sought-after item in libraries around the country, spurred in part by the popularity of programs like Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures. According to a 2019 poll by global market research company Ipsos, 46% of respondents expressed a belief in ghosts, up from 25% in a 1990 Gallup poll.
To check out the APL Ghost Hunting Kit, view our full Library of Things and select the kit under the Entertainment section. From there, you can place the kit on hold, and if it’s available, pick it up the following day at the Downtown Library. If it’s not available, you’ll be added to the waitlist, and we’ll contact you when it’s your turn.
