Supporting Your Library
Thank you for considering making a donation to the Friends of the Amarillo Public Library! Your generosity helps support programs such as the Summer Reading Club, 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, Education Services, and other special events for readers of all ages.
How to Make a donation
- Donations are only accepted February through October
- No more than 5 boxes are accepted at a time
- The Downtown Library is the best drop off location, but all locations accept donations
- Pack items in boxes small enough for one person to carry
- You can always call before bringing a donation at 806-378-3054
Some of the donations are added to the library collection, but most donated items are sold during the Friends of APL’s Annual Book Sales or sold individually in the Friends of APL Store at the Downtown Library.
