We offer a wide range of amenities to make sure you have the most memorable experience while at our venues.
ADA Accessibility
Individuals with disabilities who require special accommodations or a sign language interpreter at an event must contact our Administration Office at (806) 378-4297 or the City of Amarillo’s TDD number at (806) 378-4229.
All main entrances at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex, Globe News-Center for the Performing Arts, and Pavilion at the Santa Fe Depot are wheelchair accessible. Parking spaces for individuals with disabilities are available in adjacent parking areas.
The Amarillo Civic Center and the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts are equipped with restroom facilities, communications equipment, and elevators that are accessible.
Wheelchair Accessibility
The following list indicates the best access to each of the Civic Center’s venues:
- In the Auditorium, wheelchair access is from the top row closest to the lobby or by elevator to the 10 rows closest to the stage.
- In the Cal Farley Coliseum, wheelchairs can be accommodated in the top of Sections 104, 108, 112, 118, 119, 123, and 127.
- In the Grand Plaza, ramps provide access to its drop-level and stage.
- All other Civic Center venues have unlimited wheelchair access.
For the Globe News Center for the Performing Arts, wheelchair access is available by elevator to all floors of the lobby areas. Inside the Performance Hall, wheelchairs can be accommodated just inside House Left and House Right on the first floor level as well as in Row H in the third floor balcony level.
Elevators
The Civic Center has two elevators, both in the Cal Farley Coliseum Concourse. You can use the elevators to access the Coliseum and Auditorium, while the Grand Plaza has ramps to reach its drop-level and stage.
The Globe News Center for the Performing Arts has two sets of elevators—one pair in the north lobby and one pair backstage.
ATMs
Two ATMs are available at the Civic Center. One located on the north end of the building and one located on the south end next to the Cal Farley Coliseum.
Concessions
Concessions options for all venues vary by event.
Bathrooms
The Civic Center has 22 bathrooms throughout the complex, as shown in detail on our Venue Map.
The Globe News Center for the Performing Arts has two bathrooms on each floor, making a total of 6 bathrooms.
The Pavilion at the Santa Fe Depot does not currently have bathrooms, but temporary structures may be available depending on the event organizer.
Water Fountains
The Civic Center has 6 water fountains throughout the complex—two near the Cal Farley Coliseum, two in the north end of the building, and two near the box office.
The Globe News Center for the Performing Arts has 2 water fountains on each floor.
Vending Machines
There are two vending machines on the south end of the Civic Center. Please note that they are cash only.
Lactation Room
We are proud to provide a dedicated lactation room located on the south end of the Civic Center Complex next to the North Exhibit Hall. This room has rocking chair and an adult-sized changing table.
Lost & Found
Lost and found items that are turned in by patrons or discovered by staff are logged into Lost and Found each night. All items will be disposed of appropriately if not claimed within 30 days. To inquire about lost items, call the Amarillo Civic Center Complex Administration Offices at (806) 378-4297 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Internet
We offer free Wi-Fi internet service in all common areas at all of our venues. When connecting on your device, search for “ Civic Center – Guest”.
