K-12 children are invited to submit original artwork for the annual Every Drop Counts calendar. Show off your creativity and help remind our community why every drop of water counts! 13 winners will get their artwork featured in the 2027 calendar,and win various prizes provided by our sponsors!

Prize Information

Participants have the opportunity to win exciting prizes, including a $1,000 gift card and exclusive merchandise. Moreover, the winning artworks will be featured in the upcoming “2027 Every Drop Counts Calendar”, serving as a year-round reminder of the significance of water conservation.

Entry Rules & Requirements

• The contest theme is “Every Drop Counts.”
• The poster should be artistic, positive in approach, and focus on water conservation.
• Poster must be at least 11 x 8.5 inches, but not larger than 17 x 11 inches and must be in a landscape (horizontal) layout.
• Poster may be submitted on paper or poster board.
• Must be student’s original artwork.
• No signatures on posters.
• No syndicated, copyrighted or clipart images.
• No computer aided or copy-machine poster entries.
• A completed entry form must be attached to the back of each poster submitted.
• Reproducibility will be a factor in the judges’ decisions, so use good lettering and bright, high contrast colors.
• Entries must be received by May 31st, 2026, and may be turned in at any Amarillo Public Library or the second floor of the Simms Municipal Building.
• Judge’s decisions are final. Prizes cannot be redeemed for money.
