City Plan — Vision 2045 (Comprehensive Plan) is a groundbreaking, community-driven initiative, a long-term strategic framework shaped to foster equitable growth, elevate the quality of life, and guide investments in Amarillo over the next two decades. It comprehensively addresses key facets of city life — businesses, homes, sidewalks, and parks — aligning closely with community values spanning quality of life, economic development, housing, neighborhoods, transportation, health and safety, and growth management.

- Online — The draft plan is available online in a program called Konveio. This program format allows readers to comment directly on the document. Click to view the City Plan in Konveio.
- Email — Click here to email your City Plan Public DRAFT review comments.
- In-Person — Attend one of the five open houses at the libraries to speak with City Plan staff and share comments.
- Wednesday, March 13th — Downtown, 10am-12pm
- Thursday, March 14th — North Branch, 11am-1pm
- Tuesday, March 19th — Northwest, 5pm-7pm
- Wednesday, March 20th — Southwest, 3pm-5pm
- Thursday, March 21st — East, 9am-11am

- Monday, March 11th — Planning and Zoning Commission Public Review Draft presentation and workshop
- Tuesday, March 12th — City Council Public Review Draft presentation
- Wednesday, April 3rd — Public comment deadline
- Monday, April 15th — Planning and Zoning Commission vote to recommend approval (TENTATIVE)
- Tuesday, April 23rd — City Council vote to adopt (TENTATIVE)
