Indie Lens Pop-Up: The First Rainbow Coalition

Join Panhandle PBS on December 10 for a screening of an acclaimed documentary that charts the history and enduring legacy of a groundbreaking multi-ethnic coalition that rocked Chicago in the 1960s. Following the film, Amarillo community leaders Floyd Anthony (Amarillo Branch NAACP), Teresa Kenedy (Barrio Neighborhood Planning Committee) and Manny de los Santos (lead pastor of Power Church and community advocate) will discuss their community organizing efforts. (Previously announced panelist Potter County Commissioner Mercy Murguia had an unavoidable conflict and cannot attend.)
