Utility Billing Software Informational Meetings
Informational Meetings Scheduled for Utility Billing Software Update
The City of Amarillo Utility Billing Department has scheduled a series of public/informational meetings for new computer software. The meetings begin Tuesday, Jan. 29.
The new software will improve the billing process for utilities such as water, solid waste, sewer and drainage. Amarillo residents will have automatic draft capabilities for their accounts. In addition, there will be the convenience of online and electronic payment, a self-serve portal, access to billing history, the ability to link multiple accounts and an in-person or online chat feature.
The new software program begins Feb. 18.
The informational meetings will educate customers on the new program, and provide customers the opportunity to learn about the benefits of the new software. Attendees can ask questions and learn how to set up an account in the new program.
The meeting schedule is:
- Tuesday, Jan. 29, 6 p.m. Northwest Branch Library, 6100 S.W. 9th Ave.
