COA Observes Memorial Day

City to Honor Those Who Have Made Ultimate Sacrifice for Freedom
City Hall Closed Memorial Day

AMARILLO –The City of Amarillo will join the nation Monday (May 25) in honoring and recognizing the members of the U.S. military who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation’s freedoms.
City Hall, Amarillo City Transit and the city landfill will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. There will not be an Amarillo Public Health Department COVID-19 Report Card or a COVID-19 ZOOM news conference on Memorial Day.

The Solid Waste schedule will be as follows:
● For residential customers, Monday routes will be serviced Tuesday (May 26). Tuesday routes will be serviced Wednesday (May 27.)
● For commercial customers, Monday routes will be serviced on Tuesday (May 26).
