Janitorial and Maintenance activities through subordinate personnel and/or

Performs variety of physical activities such as standing, walking, turning,

- Provides law enforcement services to the
Airport in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws, and specifically
Federal Aviation Regulation Part 107. Enforces appropriate Federal, State,

Airport Manager. Will be required to supply all personal equipment necessary
for performance of duties, including, but not limited to: black clip-on tie,

assists in educational programs, and enforces environmental health laws.
Work is preformed within established department guidelines and policies, but

outdoors. Majority of vector control work is done in the hours between 12:00

is required. One course, 3 semester hours of advanced college level
mathematics may be substituted for 1 course, 3 semester hours of the
required basic or natural sciences. Must pass the "Professional Sanitarian"
examination administered by the Texas Department of State Health Services,
and be eligible to license as a Registered Sanitarian with the State of
Texas within 2 years of employment. Must submit an application for
registration as a Sanitarian (including Certified college transcripts) to
the Texas Department of State Health Services before the end of employee=s

- Under direct supervision, operates asphalt
laydown machine in performing skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the placing
of hot-mix asphalt on City streets and facilities. May require light to
medium (30-50 lbs.) lifting during minor repair or adjustment to equipment,
but could involve heavier lifting (50-110 lbs.) when performing manual
tasks. Must be able to control stress while working under emergency
conditions and integrate well with others.
Minimum eighth (8th) grade education with five (5) years experience in
operating light and medium asphalt equipment and trucks and including two
(2) years experience with laydown machine operations is required. Must
possess a valid Class “A” CDL, with Tanker “N” endorsement. High school
education desirable. Regular and punctual attendance is a requirement of
this position.
