The Central Stores Department maintains a warehouse inventory of the most
commonly used operation and repair supplies for all City departments, as
well as being an automotive parts room inventory of repair parts for City
fleet vehicles.
Responsibilities include the purchase of emergency repair
parts for City fleet vehicles. All purchasing and inventory transactions
are conducted within the guidelines of State law, City Charter, and current
standard purchasing procedures.
