| When do you take applications for HUD (Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program)? | |
| Section 8 rental subsidy applications are taken the first Tuesday of each month between 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. in Room 104, City Hall, 509 SE 7th. The waiting list for Section 8 rental assistance is approximately 18-24 months. | |
| What papers do I need to bring when I apply for HUD (Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program)? | |
| At the time of application, the social security numbers for all household members will be required. | |
| Can you fax or email a copy of rental house listings? | |
| No electronic listing of available properties is available. There are listings for review in the Community Development office from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. | |
| My house is in foreclosure, what can I do? | |
