There are three kiosks set up around the City Hall to apply at.
- 1 kiosk on the 2nd Floor in front of the elevators
- 2 kiosks on the 2nd Floor in the Human Resources Department
Any person with a Amarillo library card may access the internet at any Amarillo library for one hour per day.
The Finance Department oversees the City’s treasury management system, and develops and implements sound financial policies to ensure fiscal integrity and transparency for the City of Amarillo. The Department is responsible for accounting, purchasing, bond indebtedness, debt and cash management, risk management, and administration of the City’s health and the Fire Fighter retirement plan as well as municipal court and utility billing.
The Finance Director reports to the Assistant City Manager for Financial and Leisure Services, and directly supervises the department heads for the Finance Division including Accounting, Municipal Court, Purchasing, Risk Management, Health Plan Administration, and Utility Billing. The staff of the Finance Department are the Internal Auditor, Administrative Tech, Receptionist and a College Intern. The Finance Division includes 82 employees.
The comprehensive FY 2013-2014 annual budget for the Finance Division is just over $7 million.

Typing, filing, spelling and basic mathematical skills tests comprise the clerical exam. These exams are administered at Express Personnel at 6605 W I-40, next door to CiCi’s pizza.
