Call before you dig

Call before you dig is a free service that locates underground utilities, such as water, sewer gas, electric and phone. Use the service any time you plan to excavate at your home or business. If you hit an underground utility line while digging, you can harm yourself and those around you and disrupt service to an entire neighborhood.

When you call, you will be ask where, when and what type of excavation is to be done. Once you make the request, utility companies have 48 hours to mark their utilities. Locates are good for 14 days as long as the markings are still visible.

Call 378-6824 to set up Water and Sewer locates and dial 811 from your phone to have all other utilities located.
