Rehabilitation of Hillside Road/58th Avenue Project Begins

Amarillo, TX – Motorists who travel Hillside frequently will want to seek alternate routes through the duration of the Rehabilitation of Hillside Road project, which began Wednesday. Traffic is currently reduced to two lane/two way traffic on Hillside between Bell and Western, and motorists are advised to use extreme caution and expect delays. Work on the streets will normally take place between 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The project, funded with Capital Improvement Funds, will go in four phases extending from S. Bell Street to Georgia. The project will take approximately 10 to 11 months to complete.
